Baby Charlotte

[December 1916] Ronni’s grandfather Bob, knowing nothing about babies, left his infant daughter, Charlotte, an only child, in the hospital for two months after his wife died giving birth – or so the story goes.

Good grief. So, who raised baby Charlotte ( your mom, of course)? Were there other older siblings?

I have a picture of my dad and my grandad taken in a Chicago photographer's studio in December 1916. I wish I could post it.
