Happy New Year you wonderful lady you! However you spend the New Year...enjoy every minute. Mine will be quiet...which works for me...especially with all the craziness in the past few weeks.

I'm sending you lots of hugs Ronni...along with my sincerest wishes for a healthy and happy year ahead...may your days be filled with peace and love.

Happy New Year. Hope the year ahead is a good one for you and yours. I am in a very mellow mood for this last day of the year and thinking positively about what's coming in '07 (listening to Phil Coulter's Scottish Tranquility is helping with that).

Happy New Year Ronni - may the year ahead be filled with Joy!

You fortune cookie reads:

"2007 shall be a year of accomplishing!"

Many hopes for a healthly, wealthy and wise year!

Hi, Ronni & Happy New Year to you and all my fellow TGBers.

I spotted this article and thought this quote was great:

""It's so astonishing that I'd still be writing at 97, but it won't be in the future," Margolis said. "We think about old people as decrepit, but the brain continues. It's kind of wicked to be forced out of things when you want to go on."

Here's a link to the whole article. The subject, Adele Margolis, recently reissued her book on sewing techniques that was a primer for many for decades, and now has a book of poetry entitled Sometimes I Forget That I Am Old.

I want to be her when I grow up!

Wishing you all good things in 2007!

Happy New Year!
Miss you

Ronni, thank you for your writings, wisdom and wit! May it continue in abundance along with all good health and happiness throughout 2007!

Happy New Year!

Hi Ronni
Thanks for the New Year's wishes and all the best to you and Ollie too. Speaking of which... I read the foie gras story over on Claude's blog - too funny!! I don't know if any cat of mine that pulled such a stunt woudl have lived to tell the tale, never mind HOW cute he is... But at least you know he has a well-developed palate to match his pedigree ;-)
