I've been lurking on various elder websites including yours for some time. It's time to join the party so I'm enclosing a photo and the info for Where Elders Blog.
My name is June Calender and that is what I prefer to be called since It is a punny name and I'm used to it.
I am 72 years old and I have been writing my blog for four years; it is largely about quilting. Shortly after I turned 70, I decided I would be proud of my age and not lie in fact, tell anyone who cared.
This is my working corner of the living room. I'm glad I have a laptop because I can use it on the desk or when sitting in the big chair with the quilt [my own] or on the sofa - I most often do have it on my lap. As you see, I love having red around me. Little old lady pastels are not for me.
