Great feeling - did the same at 76 and went on kayak trip for first time - glorious feeling of accomplishment

I have started swimming for an hour a day at the local community center and I love it. Sad that I did not start sooner in my life ( I am 651/2) but it is great now for my sciatic nerve problems. I am feeling so much better with less pain.

So inspired by your post. I have been feeling about as fit as a wet cracker, need to start. Tremendous resistance tho. How did you get up your nerve?
