Some Music

[UPDATE: So sorry. I initially omitted the byline when I posted this poem. My apologies - RB.]

By Ellen Younkins

Tonight I heard some music
that I knew from long ago,
the music that I danced to
with a love I used to know.

Tonight I heard some music,
we danced the night away.
The sun came up, and now
my love is gone, again today.

Very Nice. I am sure you hold your love closely in your heart.

No author? Is that you, Ronni? Lovely and illustrates the loss that I continue to feel.

Strange how music can do these things to us.

Music does wonders.
