to make doubly certain that our
pets do not prowl,
at pedestrians growl,
nor pee on ornamental flowers.

My dog days are over but I love dogs. I always took mine to an obedience school where they learned the proper "manners".

Amen, Henry, amen. I am a cat owner and have different responsibilities, but they are much easier, especially when I travel. They are so simple for a pet sitter to care for.
I love dogs too, just can't have one now.
