The Monkeys are Running the Zoo

[EDITORIAL NOTE: Beginning Monday 13 April, there will no longer be links at the bottom of Time Goes By stories to the stories and poems at this blog. For an explanation, see here.]

By Marc Leavitt of Marc Leavitt's Blog

We teabagger monkeys now run the zoo;
We’ll turn the clock back before we are through!
It’s our cup of tea, and we’ll have our way.
Are liberals unhappy? That’s A-okay!

We say that Obama’s policies stink;
Soon as we kill them, we’ll be in the pink.
We’ll do all we can to ruin every plan,
Our goal never changing, we’ll foil the man.

This Congress is where progressives will sigh,
All of their lawmaking efforts will die.
They can hang by their tails; we’ll have such fun,
And vote down the liberals till Obama’s done.

Can't say I share the philosophy, but a very clever poem that would make a great song!

Proof positive of evolution! Only problem is it's now running in reverse.
